Expression of Interest [Postdocs] - Buddy Initiative (2022-23)

If you are a Postdoc at IIT and you would like to express your interest in signing up for the PhD-Postdoc Buddy Support initiative, please fill in the following survey.

We would like to find the best match for each PhD and Postdoc. We are collecting the names and contact details of all interested PhD students and Postdocs, and we will be pairing them on the basis of the matched topics.

The PhD-Postdoc Buddy Support system is designed so that each PhD student will have a Postdoc Buddy, with whom they will have monthly meetings to chat and check in on the topics for which the PhD student would like some support.

We kindly inform you that, pursuant to article 13 of the EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter GDPR), Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (hereinafter IIT) will process your personal data for handling your request to join the Postdoc Buddy Initiative.
The Data Controller is IIT, based in Genoa, Via Morego no. 30 (phone: +39 010 28961).

The legal basis of data processing is Article 6, par. 1, point b) of GDPR to handle your request to join the Postdoc Buddy Initiative.
Personal data will be processed by electronic means and will be stored for the time strictly necessary to handle the above-mentioned submission, in any case for no longer than 12 months.
Solely IIT’s Staff who manage the Postdoc Buddy Initiative will process your personal data.
Personal data will not be disclosed or transferred to any third party.
You can exercise the rights provided by articles 15 et seq. of GDPR, contacting the Data Protection Officer at the following e-mail address dpo@iit.it
In particular, you have the right to access to your personal data, to obtain the updating, the adjustment and the erasure of the personal data and exercise the rights to restrict and to object the data processing. Finally, we inform you that there is no type of automated decision-making process for the processing of the above data, pursuant to Article 22 of GDPR.
