We kindly inform you that, pursuant to article 13 of the EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (hereinafter “IIT”) will collect the following personal data (mandatory) to handle your request of pre-reservation to “Gran Hotel San Michele” by filling out the present form:
• Name (first and last)
• Email
• Room type (DUS, TWIN, formula RESIDENCE)
• Arrival date
• Departure date
Phone number is facultative.
The Data Controller of your data is IIT, based in Genoa, Via Morego, 30 – phone +39 010 28961.

The legal base of data processing is Article 6, par. 1, point b) of GDPR.
The processing of personal data will be carried out by electronic means, observing GDPR provisions, and will be stored for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes.
IIT’s Staff, appointed as Persons Authorized to process personal data, will collect your personal data.
Personal data will also be transferred to the hotel “Gran Hotel San Michele”, who will act as Data Controller, according to its Privacy Policy to handle your reservation. Any data will be transferred outside the European Union.
You can exercise the rights provided by articles 15 et seq. of GDPR, contacting the Data Protection Officer at the following e-mail address dpo@iit.it
In particular, you have the right to access to your personal data, to obtain the rectification, the portability and the erasure of the personal data and exercise the right to restrict the data processing.
Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority whether you think that the processing violate the rules on the protection of personal data.
Finally, we inform you that there is no type of automated decision-making process for the processing of the above data, pursuant to Article 22 of GDPR.
