BioCube 2024 Abstract submission

Dear Participant,

We kindly inform you that, pursuant to article 13 of the EU Regulation no. 2016/679 (hereinafter “GDPR”), Fondazione Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (hereinafter “IIT”) will process the following personal data (mandatory) for the abstract submission within the “BioCube 3rd Edition Meeting 2024”:

• Surname
• Affiliation
• Career stage

The legal base of data processing is Article 6, par. 1, point b) of GDPR to handle your request of participation.
The processing of personal data will be carried out by electronic means, observing GDPR provisions, and will be stored for the time strictly necessary to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes.
Solely IIT’s Staff, appointed as Persons Authorized to process personal data, will process your personal data.
Personal data will not be disclosed or transferred to any third party.
You can exercise the rights provided by articles 15 et seq. of GDPR, contacting the Data Protection Officer at the following e-mail address dpo@iit.it
In particular, you have the right to access to your personal data, to obtain the rectification, the portability and the erasure of the personal data and exercise the right to restrict the data processing.
Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority whether you think that the processing violate the rules on the protection of personal data.
Finally, we inform you that there is no type of automated decision-making process for the processing of the above data, pursuant to Article 22 of GDPR.
